WANNA HELP?

Hey we need your help. You're far away but you can make a difference. Host a show, bake sale, cake and pie auction, Tupperware party, scrapbook party, a fashion show, any event to benefit Homo a Go Go. Earn a free pass for every $200 you raise (does not include transportation or lodging).

To all Volunteers,

In order to volunteer for Homo-A-Gogo you must attend a Volunteer Orientation. During the orientation volunteers will sign-up for shifts and we will cover basic festival information. It is your responsibility to attend one of these orientations and acquire the 10 hours needed for a full pass. The orientation dates are as follows...

Tuesday, July 27 6-8pm Dub Narcotic Studio: 508 Legion Way Olympia &
Monday, August 2 6-8pm Dub Narcotic Studio 508 Legion Way Olympia

Shifts will be available on a first come, first served basis. If you are unable to attend one of these orientations you will need to stop by the Volunteer Headquarters during the festival, check-in and take any shifts that are still available-no exceptions. We are sorry of any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, however, we do not have time to schedule a shift individually with everyone. We have many volunteer hours to fill and hope to accommodate all volunteers in meeting their 10 hour goal.

Jobs that we will be looking to fill will be: ticket taking/tearing, security, clean up, working the door at workshops/panels/shows, set up, and hospitality/errand running. Backstage work, film projecting and other jobs will probably be filled ahead of time because we need to have certain positions secured due to their importance or specific technical demands.

To earn a full pass one must volunteer to work 10 hours.

If you can only attend the festival based on earning a pass by volunteering and can not make the training, please email the volunteer committee, info@homoagogo.com

We are trying to accommodate both visitors and locals. We may or may not have jobs for everyone. We are primarily looking for volunteers who can work 10 hours, to cut down on training and potential chaos.

We will have more specific information as the schedule is firmed up.
