This tape documents the fight for the Christopher St. pier,
in New York City, where youth of color, low income, homeless
and l/g/b/t/q youth have created community space and made
their home.

video/color/sound 111 mins. This feature-length narrative
stars Trini Alvarado as a politician's
daughter and Robin Johnson as a tough street punk musician.
These two teenage girls become fast friends, empowering one
another as they struggle for recognition, respect and the
freedom to be who they are. Tim Curry stars as the radio dj
who helps them. A high-energy punk rock drama, set in NYC,
with a soundtrack featuring the Pretenders, Joe Jackson, the
Talking Heads, the Ramones, Patti Smith and others.
